Sparks Police Department Arrest Man Suspected of Homicide |

Sparks Police Department (SPD) say they arrested Samuel Auther Moore III after he was determined the primary suspect of a homicide that occurred on Friday night.

SPD say they responded to a call of a subject down on the 2300 block of 4th Street in Sparks, and found the victim to be deceased.

Officials say the victim lived at the address, and foul play was suspected. The suspect was known to the victim, according to SPD. They are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.

SPD says there is no reason to believe the public should be concerned. The investigation is ongoing, and we will update you as we learn more.

The Sparks Police Department is asking that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information about this incident to contact the Sparks Police Detectives at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
