Sparks police say they need your help finding the suspect who stole heart medication during a burglary inside a Sullivan Lane apartment late Monday night.
Upon arrival, police say they learned that an elderly man's heart medication was stolen. He told police he stored the medication inside an old hydrocodone bottle. The victim said the medication is called furosemide and is described as a 40mg small round white pill with no markings.
Police say the victim advised that if someone were to mistakenly take this medication thinking it was hydrocodone and did not have a heart condition, it could have a serious if not fatal side effect.
