NBC has hired Clayton Kershaw, Anthony Rizzo and Joey Votto as analysts for its Major League Baseball broadcasts. The announcement was made during Sunday's Super Bowl pregame show. Kershaw, Rizzo, and Votto will appear on pregame shows for “Sunday Night Baseball” games and during Wild Card round coverage on NBC and Peacock. All three recently retired from baseball. NBC Sports Executive Producer Sam Flood expressed excitement about their fresh perspectives. NBC also announced Bob Costas and Ahmed Fareed as pregame hosts. The network plans to air an opening-day doubleheader on March 26, marking its return to baseball broadcasting.
