Justin Thomas shot 65 at the PGA Championship. He's been waiting around Aronimink for two hours waiting to see if it will be enough. Alex Smalley had a two-shot lead at the start of the final round. He was at 6 under and playing the second hole when Thomas posted at 5-under 275. Smalley has fallen back after a double bogey. Matti Schmid was the leader by one shot at 6 under when he headed for the back nine. Jon Rahm, Aaron Rai, Cameron Smith, Rory McIlroy and even Xander Schauffele were still within striking distance for a potential thriller of a finish.
