The Downtown Reno skyline is lit up once again as casinos get ready to reopen. The three Downtown properties known as The Row will open their doors at 10 a.m. There's been a lot of planning and preparation for the big day.

"Everybody's health and safety is priority number one for our team members and our patrons," said Glenn Carano, General Manager of The Row. "We'll be following protocols from the CDC, the Nevada Gaming Commission and the Governor to make sure this place is the cleanest and the safest. Social distancing is in effect, employees will be wearing masks, we're wiping down the tables, the machines, everything. We're taking everything very seriously and we look forward to having fun with everybody, back in action!"

The properties restaurants are starting to reopen, at half capacity, and the gaming floor will look a little different.

"Table games like blackjack will have three chairs instead of five," Carano said. "The craps tables will be limited to six positions. Roulette will have four. Slots will be spread out to every other one. So we're taking everyone's health and safety seriously, those are the guidelines, and we're doing the best we can to keep your health and safety in mind."

Nevada casinos have been shuttered since mid-March and have all undergone thorough cleanings. After months of darkness, the property is ready to welcome back those that have missed the Downtown landmark.

"I think there's pent-up demand, everyone wants to get out, and this place feels newer than new right now; it looks beautiful," Carano said. "Everyone wants to get back to what they know. We've been in business at the Eldorado for 47 years, 25 years at the Silver Legacy, and 42 years at Circus. Everyone wants to get back to what they know, and everybody knows this property; it's beautiful here."

The Silver Legacy is accepting room reservations and the Midway at Circus Circus will be open as well.
