The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says five were sentenced to prison after a shooting between rival gang members in February 2020.Â
The Reno Police Department and Regional Gang Unit determined over 16 rounds were fired at the scene near Miguel Ribera Park and initially arrested four suspects, including two juveniles. A fifth suspect was arrested in September 2020.Â
19-year-old Antonio Martin Loredo was charged with one count of fight or challenge to fight and one count of battery with use of a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm. Loredo was sentenced Feb. 3 to a maximum term of 14 years in prison. Officials say Loredo must serve a minimum of five years in prison before he is eligible for parole.Â
19-year-old Adrian Xavier Matthew Leyva was charged with one count of battery with the use of a deadly weapon and sentenced last November to 10 years of prison. Leyva is eligible for parole after four years.Â
Officials say 18-year-old Luis Gerardo Gutierrez-Carbajal was shot in the face during the incident and was not armed. Gutierrez-Carbajal was charged as an adult with a misdemeanor and sentenced to 12 months in jail and a suspended 12 month probation term.Â
Officials say Kelvin Brian Torres, 22, was unarmed and shot in the buttocks. Torres was convicted on one count of fight or challenge to fight and sentenced last September to a suspended 364 days in jail and a 12-month probation term.Â
The sentencing of the fifth member, a juvenile, was not released.Â
Deputy District Attorney Amanda Sage argued that the underlying gang motivations and injuries sustained warranted lengthy sentences. Sage also said the members posed an extreme danger to the community.Â
UPDATE: The Reno Police Department says on September 8, officers and detectives found and arrested Antonio Loredo for attempted homicide and other weapons charges.
Officials said Loredo was featured on Reno's Most Wanted and along with other investigative tools, tips through these aided the Regional Gang Unit in finding him.
He was last outstanding suspect in the Miguel Ribera Park shooting investigation from February.
Original Story: Officials with the Reno Police Department say a suspect is wanted in connection to a shooting that happened in February.
They said on the afternoon of February 22, two rival gangs began shooting at each other across the street from Miguel Ribera Park in the 3800 block of Neil Road.
Officials said more than 16 rounds were fired between the two gangs and three people were struck by gunfire.
They said all three people were hospitalized and none of the injuries were life threatening.
Officials said the three have since been released from the hospital.
They said four suspects were arrested for their alleged involvement in the shooting.
Officials said they are still looking for 18-year-old Antonio "Trouble" Loredo. They said Loredo is wanted on charges for challenging to fight with a deadly weapon, battery with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm from within a vehicle, discharging a firearm into a vehicle and assault with a deadly weapon.
They said Loredo is known to be armed and if you see him, call the police immediately.
Officials said anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Reno Police at (775) 334-2677 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. You will remain anonymous.
They said Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information resulting Loredo's capture.

Leyva was additionally charged with two counts of battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily injury.
Loredo is described as 5'7" tall and weighing around 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
