The Washoe County District Attorney's Office reports they have secured convictions against a woman with multiple counts of fraud, as well as burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

They said 32-year-old Jamie Lambdin of Reno was convicted on two separate jury trials over the last two weeks.

She was charged with one count of burglary, threes counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, one count of established a financial forgery lab, one count of a forged instrument and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

The cases against Lambdin started in September when a male victim noticed his banking account had been compromised. When he canceled his existing bank cards and ordered new ones, he noticed his replacement debit card had been activated and used at three locations in Meadowood Mall. He obtained a still photo from video surveillance of the suspect making the purchases. He placed the photo on Facebook to try and identify the suspect.

A short time later, the victim received a response from an acquaintance identifying a profile that match the suspect, identified as Lambdin. RPD submitted the case and requested a warrant.

While the warrant was pending, RPD was working on a separate fraud case at the Grand Sierra Resort. They responded to a room in the hotel and attempted to contact the occupants, when they encountered Lambdin and a male companion.

They said the room was found to contain equipment consistent with a forgery lab, including a computer, printer, digital cameras, laminate paper, multiple cell phones, multiple fake ID's in different names with Lambdin's face applied, notebooks full of personal identifying information of others and methamphetamine.

Detectives also found various fake ID cards, which were being printed in the image of the male occupant on card stock and thought to be test prints.

Forensic analysis revealed multiple files of tax returns of possible victims on Lambdin's computer. Her computer also contained templates and guides on the production of fake ID's and possessed check printing software, check stock and instructions on how to print checks. A fake social security card was found on the computer in the same name as one of Lambdin's fake ID's.

A search of her phone was conducted as well and similar evidence was discovered.

Lambdin was arrested for the forgery lab in January of 2018. She was booked for the prior fraud case at the Meadowood Mall and pleaded not guilty. The male occupant, Aaron Quintana was arrested and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess a forged instrument and sentenced to 364 days in jail.

Her sentencing is set for February 28. Lambdin faces up to 50 years in prison.
