Golf's biggest player headed to the White House Monday afternoon.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted last week that Woods will be given the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The medal honors those who have made significant contributions to the U.S.
The visit comes on the heels of Woods' win at the Masters last month.
It was his fifth Master's title - and his first major victory in 11 years.
Woods is the fourth golfer to receive the medal after Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Charlie Sifford the first black golfer on the PGA tour.
President Trump will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to world-renowned golfer Tiger Woods on Monday, May 6 in the White House Rose Garden. The event will be invitation only and covered by the press.
