Truckee Firefighters L3800 say when crews arrived, the truck was fully engulfed in flames.
Engine 92 initiated an immediate attack, with Engine 97 arriving soon after to assist with water supply, suppression, and overhaul.
Crews say the fire was brought quickly under control.
There's no immediate word on how the fire started, but fire crews say they were initially dispatched to a car with smoke coming from the hood.
