The Nevada State Law Enforcement Memorial has run out of space for names, and organizers are raising money to fund an expansion project.
The memorial currently bears the names of 158 Nevada law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
Due to the lack of space, the name of North Las Vegas officer Jason Roscow will be temporarily etched on the memorial until permanent panels can be added. Officer Roscow was shot and killed on February 4th, 2025.
Because the memorial receives no funding from any government agency, the Nevada Police Foundation is now asking for the public’s help in expanding the memorial.
According to Michelle Bays, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nevada Police Foundation, $100,000 needs to be raised to fund the construction and future maintenance.
The Nevada Police Foundation is a 501ce non-profit. If you’d like to donate to the cause, you can do so by visiting the Nevada Police Foundation website or call (702) 945-6447.
