A group attempting to recall Governor Steve Sisolak filed a petition Friday, February 14, with the Nevada Secretary of State's office.Â
'Fight for Nevada' says the reasoning behind filing the petition is because they believe the Governor does not uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution.Â
Governor Sisolak's office released a statement to 2 News on the matter saying, "The Governor's Office was informed by the Secretary of State's Office, as required by NAC 306.007, that a Notice of Intent to circulate a recall petition has been filed February 14, 2020. The Governor remains focused on the important matters of the state."
Fight for Nevada has many locations throughout the state where a physical petition can be found and signed.
