Republican Parties in four states, including Nevada, could cancel their 2020 GOP presidential primaries and caucuses, according to a report in Politico.

Politico reports that the decision to cancel may be decided as soon as this weekend.

The three other states considering canceling their primaries and caucuses are South Carolina, Kansas and Arizona.

The possible move could be a setback for President Trump's challengers: former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) and former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld.

Several other media outlets also reported on the possible change, including The Washington Post and NPR.

We've reached out to the Nevada Republican Party to comment on the report and have not heard back yet.
