UPDATE: Two former employees of the City of Reno have agreed to settle a sexual harassment claim they filed against the City.
According to court documents, the City agreed to pay $300,000 to former City Communications Director Deanna Gescheider and Assistant to the City Manager Mauren McKissick.

Original Story: Two former City of Reno employees have sued the City over its handling of sexual harassment allegations.
Former Communications Director Deanna Gescheider and former Assistant City Manager Maureen McKissick allege the City botched its investigation into sexual harassment allegations against former City Manager Andrew Clinger.
They resigned late last year, claiming it was hostile a work environment despite Clinger's resignation.
Both women accused Clinger of sexual harassment, though two investigations could not find evidence of wrongdoing.
The women say the situation cost them financially - including a loss of some retirement benefits.
They are looking for compensation and want the City to adopt and enforce a policy against sexual harassment and retaliation.
In a statement the Reno City Attorney's Office promised to vigorously defend the suit but had no further comment.
A third woman who had accused Clinger is not part of the lawsuit.
