Data from John Hopkins University and the U.S. Census Bureau shows 1 in 1,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 since late January. 

The Census Bureau estimated that the U.S. population for the last week of December was at 330,750,000. On Saturday afternoon, the national COVID-19 death toll hit 331,116. 

In Nevada, 2,944 deaths from COVID-19 have been reported as of December 26. 440 of those deaths have been reported in Washoe County.
