VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital to Hold Free Veterinary Clinic for Pets of Homeless

VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is holding a free clinic day on August 10th from 8 AM to 11AM at the downtown homeless shelter, CAC Campus, 335 Record Street in Reno.

Dr. Michelle Brim, from VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital, is making available wellness exams, nail trims, vaccinations, dewormers, acupuncture, veterinary orthopedic manipulation (chiropractic) and other medical needs. Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS) will provide free micro-chipping, and Volunteers of America and VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital will distribute free pet food.

VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital, one of almost 700 VCA small animal hospitals, is part of a leading provider of pet health care services in the US and Canada. VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is teaming up with Washoe County Regional Animal Services, Volunteers of America, and Pets of the Homeless in Carson City in order to make this day possible.
