The wrong way driver was traveling eastbound on I80 westbound when the wrong way drive struck a westbound vehicle head on.

The vehicles came to rest blocking all lanes of traffic at about 5:40 a.m.

NHP says the driver of the westbound vehicle was transported to Renown with critical injuries.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a white Chevy, was transported with minor injuries and is now in custody for driving under the influence (DUI).
