The average cost of a gallon of regular gas in Nevada is currently 36 cents higher per gallon than the national average according to Gasbuddy.com and AP News
Gasbuddy.com reports that the average price for gas in Nevada is currently $3.23 a gallon. In Reno, lower prices can be found but they still land above the national average. Gasbuddy shows the lowest price in Reno to be  $3.11 at Costco on Harvard Way, Sam's Club on Kietzke Ln., and Golden Gate on 6th St.
AP News reports that the average price of regular gas nationwide is now $2.87 a gallon, a 3 cent price jump from last week.Â
Analyst Trilby Lundberg tells AP that "with a good gas supply and stable crude oil prices, gasoline prices could stop rising and might even drop in the next two weeks."
