A Wellington man suffered severe injuries after his motorcycle went off a cliff on SR-89 near the east fork of the Carson River this weekend.
California Highway Patrol says 58-year-old Troy Costa Sr. was driving a 2004 Harley-Davidson south on SR-89 one mile north of Junction SR-4 when he missed a curve and his motorcycle off the cliff.
The man was flown by Careflight to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for medical treatment.
