NHP says a Fallon woman died in a crash on US-50 Alternate near Nevada Pacific Parkway last month.

NHP says a preliminary investigation shows that a black 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading north on Nevada Pacific Parkway approaching the intersection with US-50A. A gray 2013 Dodge Avenger was traveling east on US-50A in the far-right lane approaching Nevada Pacific Parkway.

NHP says the Ford F-150 failed to stop at the posted stop sign and struck the Dodge Avenger injuring passenger Ashley Conatser. She was flown by Care Flight to a nearby hospital where she later died.

Authorities say the F-150 driver, Dillion Moore was booked into the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office in Yerington on charges of DUI causing death and substantial bodily harm, open container, and failure to yield from stop sign.
