The Food Bank of Northern Nevada says an additional four locations have been added to the schedule for its Kids Cafe program.

There are now 24 locations for parents to pick up grab-and-go style packages breakfasts and lunches for children.

Parents are encouraged to go to the same site each week to receive the meals.

The distributions will be on a Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday schedule. Children will receive three days’ worth of meals at a time, including one breakfast and one lunch per day.

Meals are being served in a grab-n-go style, either in drive-thru or walk-up method, allowing meals to be taken home for consumption.

Parents are encouraged to have the child present or have a student ID card when picking up meals.

This schedule allows the Food Bank to serve at more sites while making it possible for parents to make fewer trips out with their children during a time when residents are being encouraged to stay at home as much as possible.
