The Nevada Department of Corrections says an inmate died Sunday at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City.
Authorities say 64-year-old Robert Buff died in the Northern Nevada Correctional Center Hospice Unit.
Buff was serving a life sentence for murder in the first degree and use of a deadly weapon enhancement from Washoe County.Â
Buff arrived at the NDOC on November 17, 1995.Â
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Coroner responded. An autopsy is being scheduled to determine the cause of death.
Family members were notified.
