Iraq's military says two rockets struck a training base where U.S.-led coalition troops and NATO trainers are present south of the capital, Baghdad, marking the third such attack in the span of a week.
The rockets struck the Basmaya training base on Monday evening, according to an army statement. No further details were provided.
A Spanish contingent of the coalition and NATO trainers are present at the site.
There was no immediate confirmation of the attack from the coalition on Tuesday. No militant group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
