Local Organizations Join Together to Host Free Legal Guidance Seminars |

If you or someone you know is in need of legal guidance, then there's an event for you.

The Washoe County Law Library of the Second Judicial Court has partnered with the Northern Nevada Lawyers Association to hist free legal seminars for the public.

Attorneys will cover topics in family law, civil law, estates and probate, pardons and criminal records sealing.

The following is the schedule for all upcoming legal guidance seminars:

Family Law Assistance, every Tuesday afternoon
General Law Assistance, every Wednesday afternoon
Probate Law Assistance, every first and third Wednesday of the Month
Special Pardons and Criminal Records Sealing Program, Tuesday August 25 and Wednesday, August 26 at 5:00 p.m.

In order to stay in compliance with Nevada's pandemic mandates, officials say all seminars will be held virtually, via Zoom.

Officials ask that you register beforehand. They say appointments are on a first come, first-served basis.
