For many, Memorial Day weekend marks the start of summer - at Palisades Tahoe, it means the end of the ski and snowboard season.

It also means that the annual Made in Tahoe Spring Festival is back, taking place May 24-25 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Village at Palisades Tahoe.

The event promises more than 95 local artisans, nonprofits and performers, all from the Tahoe region.

The festival is free, family-friendly and open to all ages.

Closing day for skiing and riding at Palisades Tahoe is May 26.
