A small plane that left Stead was forced to make an emergency landing near Hallelujah Junction after sustaining engine failure. 

CHP-Quincy shared some photos online Wednesday showing the plane on a dirt road after it appeared to be towed by a CHP patrol SUV. 

CHP says the pilot landed on Scott Road, using the dirt as an emergency runway.Â
