This week, the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Campaign received confirmation from the Nevada Secretary of State's office that 22,000 signatures had been verified. This is more than double the number required to get Mr. Kennedy on the ballot as an independent.

"That paves the way for us to go ahead and file a deceleration of candidacy as well as file electors to the electoral college, and that should complete the ballot access process," said 'Kennedy 2024' Regional Field Director West Joe Cook.

The campaign says they overcame several challenges to get Kennedy on Nevada's ballot. As we have reported, the campaign presented over 15,000 signatures in January. However, in early March, the Secretary of State's office informed them that their ballot petition was invalidated because a staffer gave the campaign inaccurate guidance. Additionally, the Nevada Democratic party filed a lawsuit claiming that Mr. Kennedy is ineligible to run as an independent in Nevada because of his affiliations with third parties in other states.

"I see it as baseless. I'll leave the legal team to get into those particulars, but with each challenge from the Democratic side, as far as ballot access goes, we have been victorious. We have played by the rules; we're doing great work with our volunteers and paid staff. We're very confident we will be on the ballot," explained Cook.

Over the weekend, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. attended a national cryptocurrency conference in Nashville. Former President Donald Trump and Republican Nevada Senate candidate Sam Brown also attended the conference. The campaign has emphasized that cryptocurrency blockchain embodies important characteristics of freedom and individual sovereignty that are key principles for the campaign. Kennedy also argues that cryptocurrency could help ensure national security.

"Mr. Kennedy knows that with the run-up of debt and with the nature of our currency system there, there are challenges and headwinds for our country, and so his emphasis on blockchain and trying to work toward a prosperous America as we work through the 21st century," said Cook.

The Kennedy campaign is progressing toward a 50-state plus Washington D.C. Strategy.

We reached out to Nevada Democratic Party staffers about the lawsuit and will share any updates we receive from them.
