Nevada is continuing to see a strong early voting turnout.

We are less than a week away from the General Election, and people still have plenty of time to make their voices heard.

Nevada voters we spoke to have mixed feelings on the election.

Some are excited and anticipating it, but some said they don't like how divided our country feels right now and wish people would be willing to respect whoever is sitting in the oval office.

"Instead of fighting against each other all the time, let's work together to do something for this country," said David Judd, Nevada voter. "If it's Harris fine let's work with her. If it's Trump, let's work with him."

Some voters will not be missing the constant political ads on their TVs and cellphones.

"You can't watch TV, even the World Series, I don't even know if you can watch a religious program without being inundated with a Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, Sam Brown or Jacky Rosen commercial," said Donny Crandell, Nevada voter.

Voters have until Friday if they want to cast their ballots early.

Some think that early voting has become more popular, but some wish we could go about things a different way.

"I would prefer, one day voting with real ballots on paper, hand counted," Crandell said.

With the clock ticking down on early voting, the Secretary of State's Office is pleased with the results.

Many remember Nevada being one of the last states to finalize election results in 2020.

There's been new methods and technologies introduced to help speed up the process, so the Silver State isn't at the center of national attention awaiting results.

"My goal in all of this though is for nobody outside of Nevada to know my name," said Francisco Aguilar, Nevada Secretary of State. "They don't need to know the Secretary of State in Nevada is if we are able to meet every expectation that we have."

The SOS says that Nevada saw quick results in the June Primary Election that they're hoping to carry over to next Tuesday.

"However, there are a few nuances one is we have to wait until the last voter in Nevada votes," Aguilar said. "And hopefully, we don't want to have long lines, but we want to ensure everybody has access to the ballot box and two is, our races are going to be super close. The margins are going to be very slim, and we need to ensure we are putting accurate information out there."
