Today was the second and final day of the 35th Annual World Championship Outhouse Races in Virginia City.

People gathered along C Street to watch the event, and it was very popular.

Once teams were ready to go, the racing began.

Some teams were there for fun, while others were there to win.

Our very own Jaden Urban competed in the event and was very competitive over the weekend, going undefeated on Saturday.

Despite not winning the entire competition, team members say it was an awesome weekend.

"It was super fun, it was probably a lot more people out here yesterday but overall, I would say the environment out here was super fun and welcoming and even though we lost I'll definitely do it again next year," said Dillon Dotson.

Many people had a great time this weekend cheering everyone on, and the weather this weekend was perfect for the event.

One couple who has come to this event for a few years says there is no better place for the outhouse races than Virginia City.

"Well I saw a sign that said the end of the road, that is where the fun begins so it is a great venue for Virginia City, it's fantastic we got fun people here left and right," said Mike O'Sullivan.

When the event was all said and done, team Craptain America took the first place prize.
