Reno Public Market is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Nevada's first hospice guest house and the public is invited.
The ceremony will take place at the Reno Public Market at 299 E. Plumb Lane in Reno, on Thursday, March 20, from 3-5 p.m.
They say this innovative initiative, created by the Circle of Life Hospice Foundation (COLHF), offers Nevadans who are nearing the end of their lives free accommodation and board as well as round-the-clock care.
Organizers say to celebrate this milestone in providing compassionate, high-quality support and end-of-life care in the area, COLHF board members, government dignitaries, Reno Public Market employees, Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce leadership, and community leaders will gather at the event.
Organizers say their will be a social-mixer following the ceremony, with opportunities to help support the foundations mission.Â
