Firefighters with North Lyon Fire put out a car fire in Fernley on Wednesday evening.
It happened just before 5 p.m. on Hardie Lane between Cottonwood Lane and Sunshine Lane, according to a post from North Lyon Fire on Facebook.
Firefighters said that a column of smoke was visible from a distance, and that when they arrived, they found a car fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished, and there were no injuries or damage to surrounding vehicles or property.
