Reno Firefighters Association rescue

Reno Firefighters rescued two teenagers who were unable to climb down from a flood control tower.

In a Facebook post from the Reno Firefighters Association, an Urban Search and Rescue team responded to the location.

Upon arrival, the rescue team found two teenagers who were unable to climb down from the top of the tower, according to the association.

The association says they were rescued by placing ground ladders to get them back to ground level.

Officials remind Parents to discuss with your kids the hazards of playing around flood control basins, culverts and irrigation ditches.
