A flood advisory is in effect for Washoe and Storey Counties on Tuesday evening.
The National Weather Service in Reno issued the advisory and is warning of minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas and water over roadways.
Flooding is expected in urban and small stream areas.
Some places where flooding is expected include areas along Veterans Parkway, Damonte Ranch, and Hidden Valley.
The advisory is in effect until 8:15 p.m.
