The victim in a fatal crash near the town of Wells in October has been identified by Nevada State Police.

In a release, NSP says 75-year-old Clarence Faulkner of Elko was pronounced dead on the scene following the crash, which happened on I-80, around 30 miles east of Wells.

Faulkner was driving a white Toyota Tundra pick-up truck which left the road, entering the center median, investigators determined.

Investigators say the Tundra then overcorrected, spinning through the westbound lanes and flipping on the shoulder to the north of the road.

Faulkner was not wearing his seatbelt at the time according to the release and was ejected from the truck.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing and is being conducted by the Nevada Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Unit.
