A lockdown has been released on a Nevada military base after a car crashed into its main gate early Monday afternoon.
Around 12:52 p.m. a car driven by a civilian crashed into the main gate of the Nevada Air National Guard Base in Reno.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
The 152nd Security Forces Squadron was on site and quickly apprehended the driver of the car.
As a precautionary measure, the base was placed on lockdown - the lockdown was subsequently lifted at 2:44 p.m.
The FBI and Reno Police Department are currently investigating the crash.
