Mark your calendars!

The Sparks Police Department is partnering with Join Together Northern Nevada (JTNN) and other local agencies for the Northern Nevada Rx Drug Take Back.

According to an online Facebook post, The Sparks Police Department says this important event offers residents a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications, over-the-counter pills, pet medications, and prescription liquids, helping to prevent misuse, accidental poisoning, and environmental harm.

No questions asked. No paperwork. Just drive up and drop off.

The event will take place at various locations around the Northern Nevada, on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
