A skier had to be rescued after getting stuck in deep snow on the west slope of East Peak in Douglas County on Tuesday.
12 Douglas County Search and Rescue team members responded to help with the incident.
They deployed as ski and snowshoe teams using the Tucker Snowcat, a tracked UTV, and two snowmobiles.
The skier was ultimately found and safely extracted by Heavenly ski patrol.
