Sun Valley General Improvement District is kicking off the 2026 pool and recreation season with their annual Dive into Summer event.Â
It's happening Friday June 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sun Valley Community Park in partnership with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. Â
The event features music, emergency responder equipment on display, information booths from community resource partners, raffle tickets, free facepainting, a free hot dog, and Sun Valley pool tokens.
No alcohol, smoking or vaping is allowed, and all service dogs must be leashed.Â
