Two people were found inside the Nevada Museum of Art and arrested by the Reno Police following a search of the property after a burglar alarm was activated.
Several officers were dispatched to the museum after the alarm went off, with a report of two people inside on Wednesday at around 1:30 a.m.
When officers arrived on the scene and began searching, an officer watching the perimeter saw two people trying to scale a portion of the museum that was under construction.Â
Officers on the perimeter of the building, with the help of museum security providing video surveillance, found the two people. Â
They were both arrested for alleged burglary and identified as 20-year-old Amaya Velazquez and 21-year-old Samuel Collonius.Â
