The Historic Fourth Ward School Museum and NevadaLand Productions are partnering to host the first annual Comstock Film Festival in Virginia City.
The festival takes place Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22.
The three-day event offers participants the chance to learn from film industry experts, watch independent films by local Nevada filmmakers, and network with other creatives who share similar passions.
The festival is open to anyone with a love for film and/or Nevada history.
Classes scheduled for the festival include Filmmaking, Cinematography & Screenwriting, The Art of Acting and an expert panel discussion and Q&A.
A number of screenings will be happening during the festival as well, both for short films and feature films.
Tickets for the entirety of the festival, or for individual screenings can be purchased at the Comstock Film Festival's Eventbrite page.
