A crash on State Route 70 in California on Thursday morning sent a woman to the hospital with moderate injuries.
California Highway Patrol Quincy posted on social media that the driver was a 19-year-old woman from Beckwourth/Sparks.
She crashed through a guardrail causing what CHP called major damage to the road infrastructure.
She was taken to Renown with moderate injuries.
In multiple posts about the crash on their Facebook page, CHP reminded people of the poor road conditions and asked them to slow down.
