According to South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, a battery charger is being recalled.
It says MyCharge battery chargers have caused two house fires while charging.
The devices are sold exclusively at Costco. The effected model numbers are AO10FK-A, AO10FK-B and AO10FK-C.
The manufacturing date codes included are all codes ending in 21 or 22, and the following date codes ending in 23:Â 0123, 0923, 1523 and 1723.
Folks with these chargers are asked to stop using them and contact MyCharge for a free replacement.
You must also upload a photo of your charger and responsibly dispose of it in order to receive the replacement.
