The U.S. stock market is moving lower following mixed profit reports from Walmart and other big companies, and oil prices are rising as worries flare up about a possible conflict between the U.S. and Iran. The S&P 500 fell 0.4% early Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 218 points, and the Nasdaq composite fell 0.6%. Walmart rose after delivering stronger results for the end of 2025 than analysts expected, however the retail gaint also gave a profit forecast for 2026 that fell short of estimates.
