The Nevada Seismological Laboratory is reporting that a magnitude 4.18 earthquake has hit southern Nevada.
The quake struck at 8:06 p.m. and was located near Indian Springs, Nevada, about 45 miles from Las Vegas.
The quake comes just a day after a magnitude 4.4 quake hit in the Los Angeles area.
It is unknown if it caused any damage or injuries.
