I have worked in healthcare for 29 years. I have dedicated work and advocacy to children and seniors in our community for over twenty years. I have also owned several businesses. I'm currently governor appointed on the follow boards. Current Governor Appointed Commissioner For: Commission for the State of Nevada: Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board, The State Bar of Nevada Board Fee Disputes Committee Reno, & Board of Examiners for Long-Term Care Facility Administrators. I believe these skillsets would allow me to perform essential duties as the WCSD-F Trustee

IN JUST A FEW SENTENCES: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM FACING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND HOW WOULD YOU FIX IT?

Budget deficits, low enrollment rates, and school choices. There are some creative ways to solve these issues for the public education system that include selling or lease existing WCSD buildings that are not being used. We should team up with the charter schools to see what they do well and implement that in the public schools to help our students.

IN ONE SENTENCE WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING VOTERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I'm a single mom of two boys ages 16 & 7, who has personally gone through the WCSD school district from elementary to high school and now my children are both in the WCSD schools.
