I have over thirty years of real estate experience and I have a unique understanding of the market and housing affordability. I produced trade shows and conventions in the environmental and hazardous waste disposal industry. I have held Atomic Energy Commission top secret clearance and Department of Defense secret clearance.

WHAT IS YOUR TOP PRIORITY IF ELECTED?

Introduce and pass the Nevada Wetlands Development Accountability Act to protect Red Hawk, Wingfield Springs and other similarly vulnerable communities throughout the state.

IN JUST A FEW SENTENCES: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM FACING OUR STATE, AND HOW WOULD YOU FIX IT?

Wildfire is the biggest problem in our state and it is divided into two parts. First, making sure that homeowners can afford wildfire insurance. Second (and related) is making sure our firefighters and communities have the resources that they need to mitigate and defend against wildfire risk. I believe our state needs to be taking advantage of every federal dollar available to combat wildfire and wildfire risk and after that making sure that we are prioritizing addressing that risk in the state budget.

CONSUMER PRICES, GAS PRICES, AND HOUSING COSTS ARE HISTORICALLY HIGH, WHILE WAGES HAVE NOT KEPT PACE IN NEVADA. WHAT IS YOUR PLAN TO HELP NEVADANS WHO ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY?

As early stated, in my district even homeowners without a mortgage are experiencing rising housing costs through sky rocketing homeowner's and wildfire insurance. Our legislators need to prioritize getting that under control. I also think the state needs to continue to prioritize diversifying our economy in a direction that creates more high wage jobs so incomes can rise quicker than prices.

WHERE DO YOU STAND ON THE RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF AI, AND THE PROLIFERATION OF DATA CENTERS? WHAT ROLE DO YOU SEE NEVADA TAKING IN EACH?

I think AI can be a great thing for our country and state but I am concerned at the rapid pace of development on AI. I believe it is important for legislators to build guardrails on the development of AI that protect citizens without unnecessarily slowing down the industry. Similarly, I want data centers to be done the right way. We need to make sure that data centers built in Nevada are using the latest technology to protect our residents electricity bills, water resources and quality of life. The Nevada Assembly has a role to play in making sure data center development is a positive and not a negative for our citizens.
