The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) says one of their patrol cars was rear ended on I-580 in Washoe Valley going northbound on Wednesday night.
They said there were no injuries, but it's a good reminder for drivers to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.
This comes after NHP released a statement saying they will be increasing their efforts to enforce the "Move Over Law," earlier this month.
Earlier this evening, a NHP Patrol Car was rear ended on northbound I-580 in Washoe Valley. Luckily, there were no injuries to either party. Always remember to slow down and move over when you see flashing emergency lights. @nevadadot @DriveSafeNV pic.twitter.com/RpDpBn6VrL
