The Washoe County coroner has identified the pedestrian who was hit by several cars near North Carson Street near Silver Oak in Carson City on December 2.

Nevada Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday.

The coroner says 34-year-old Michael Leach of Carson City died on scene.

The investigation continues and an official cause of death remains pending.
