CBS News says President Trump increased U.S and China tensions with threats to raise tariffs, this time on nearly all remaining Chinese Imports.Â
They also say U.S Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said on Friday, "The U.S has increased the level of tarrifs from 10 percent to 25 percent on approximately $200 billion worth of Chinese imports."
He continued to say President Trump, "ordered us to begin the process of raising tariffs on essentially all remaining imports from China, which are valued at $300 billion."
This comes after descriptions from Mr. Trump saying trade talks on Friday were "candid" and "constructive."
However, the trade war between the world's two largest economies are the most heated since the 1930's.
