A Reno man now faces up to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of DUI Causing Substantial Bodily Harm.Â
36-year-old Shonnon Forrest McNatt was arrested on April 22, 2015 after Reno Police officers responded to a report of a car striking a pedestrian. The 57-year-old pedestrian sustained serious injuries including a broken collar bone and shoulder blade. Officers noticed signs of intoxication while interviewing McNatt and he was arrested after failing several field sobriety tests.Â
During the trial the Washoe County District Attorney's office presented evidence that McNatt's blood alcohol level was a 0.291 and 0.203 within two hours of the collision.Â
McNatt will be sentenced in January and faces up to 20 years in prison.Â
