Reno Police Investigate Fatal Crash Near Virginia Lake

Reno Police say a driver has died after an early morning accident near Virginia Lake. 

Authorities say the driver of the other vehicle, 27-year-old Stephen Christie was not hurt in the 7:30 a.m. accident, located west of Virginia Lake near Watt Street and Country Club Drive.

Reno Police say they have arrested Christie on unrelated warrants. Police say he is currently being uncooperative at this time in connection with the accident investigation.

Police haven't released the victim's name. 

There's still no word on what caused the accident.
